Dundashill

Rankinfraser are engaged in a regeneration project with Bigg in the Port Dundas area of Glasgow. Planning approval has been granted for a residential development on the former industrial site and mobilisation work in the build up to the construction phase has begun.

The project’s first phase is for a landscape framework within which a number of residential plots are to be located. The proposals consider the incorporation of the housing plots into the existing landscape’s topography, creating a landscape framework which maximises the site’s outlook over the surrounding city. Consideration is given to the public realm, incorporating an above ground SUDs scheme, and various existing industrial features are reimagined as viewing platforms.
