Qualifications
MA (Hons) Landscape Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art
Kirsty graduated in Landscape Architecture from Edinburgh College of Art in 2011. She has worked both in environmental consultancy and in landscape design offices in The Netherlands and Scotland. Kirsty has experience of both large scale environmental assessment projects and site specific landscape design associated with residential, education and specialist care environments including housing for complex needs. Kirsty joined rankinfraser in 2014 since when she has worked on a range of projects including the creation of the multi-award winning public realm within the Category B Listed Dunbar Battery; the detailed design and implementation of ‘Oriam’ Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre within the Riccarton Designed Landscape; the Stirling Care Village, Royston Care Home for CEC and Camphill Special needs school in Aberdeenshire. Kirsty is particularly skilled in engaging diverse stakeholder groups in briefing development and explaining the design proposals.
