Fasque House Estate

Rankinfraser won the commission to develop a landscape masterplan for 115 fully serviced house plots on previously identified development zones for Fasque Estate from Fasque House Properties Ltd in competition in 2012. Fasque Estate is a nationally important designed landscape in Aberdeenshire and is included in the Gardens and Designed Landscapes Inventory by Historic Scotland because of the importance of its landscaped park which features policy woodland elements from the 18th and 19th centuries relating to its A Listed country house, formerly the home of the Gladstone family. On completion of the landscape masterplan, Rankinfraser were appointed to lead the landscape and infrastructural detail design for two housing zones for 41 houses in conjunction with Malcolm Fraser Architects initially and subsequently with LDN Architects. The project is currently awaiting a decision from planning.
